Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Arnaud Deltour has dedicated an entire practice to a single joint: the knee. Ligament reconstruction, meniscus preservation, osteoarthritis, knee replacement and revision — every procedure draws on twenty years of training and a sustained surgical workload.
A multidisciplinary team ensures continuity of care: physiotherapists specialising in sport and post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine and rheumatology, at HORI, BOSI and CHIREC Delta. Diagnosis, surgery and rehabilitation are designed as a single pathway, coordinated from the first examination through to the return to activity.

Answers to the most common questions before a knee consultation or operation.
The practice covers eight areas: anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and multiligament reconstruction, meniscal repair and transplantation, cartilage repair and grafting, knee trauma, the surgical management of osteoarthritis, knee replacement (total, unicompartmental, bicompartmental and patellofemoral), the management of painful or unstable knee replacements, and revision knee replacement.
No. The practice is devoted exclusively to the knee. This exclusive focus maintains a high surgical volume across a limited range of procedures — more than 1,000 total knee replacements and more than 1,500 anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions to date.
Dr Deltour consults at three locations: HORI (Rue Lens 13, 1000 Bruxelles), BOSI (Allée de la Minerva 2, 1150 Woluwé-Saint-Pierre) and CHIREC Delta (Boulevard du Triomphe 201, 1160 Auderghem), where surgery is also performed within the Brussels Knee Center.
Appointments are booked online, through the Rosa platform or through the booking link of each practice. For any questions beforehand, the secretariat can be reached Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Yes. Knee replacement is performed with robotic assistance, and robotic knee surgery is the subject of masterclasses at the BOSi Knee Academy, founded by Dr Deltour.
Yes. Consultations can be held in English, French (Dr Deltour’s native language) or Dutch. Dr Deltour also communicates in sign language.
Yes. The diagnostic assessment of painful or unstable knee replacements and revision surgery (for failed, infected or malpositioned implants) are among Dr Deltour’s areas of expertise.
A multidisciplinary team supports the surgical care: sports physiotherapy and post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine and rheumatology, at HORI, BOSI and CHIREC Delta. Follow-up is coordinated from diagnosis through to the return to activity.
Dr Arnaud Deltour’s INAMI/RIZIV number — the Belgian national health insurance registration number — is 1-89735-94.
It depends on the location: around two weeks at HORI, one month at BOSI and three to four months at CHIREC Delta. When surgery is already indicated and documented by an MRI scan, an email to arnaud.deltour@chirec.be — or a request sent by your physiotherapist or sports physician — can significantly speed things up.
Consultations are “non-conventioned”: fees are not bound by the national INAMI/RIZIV fee agreement. A consultation costs €70. For procedures carried out during a consultation: Depo-Medrol injection €10, hyaluronic acid injection €30, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) €100, Kiomedine €150. Fees as of September 2026, subject to change.

Three days. The Brussels Knee Center provides detailed information on how operations are carried out at bkc.be/informations-pour-le-patient (in French).
It depends on whether a meniscal suture is performed at the same time. Driving: about three weeks after an isolated anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, or four to six weeks when a meniscal suture is also performed. Work depends on the job: one week for working from home, about one month for on-site work, and three months for physically demanding work. Sport: a gradual return is possible from around three months; more intense sports, especially pivoting and contact sports, usually take longer. The timing is decided with Dr Deltour, depending on how rehabilitation progresses.
No, a referral is not required. Most patients come by word of mouth; others are referred by their GP, sports physician or physiotherapist.
